Welcome to Yaya’s Angelz Childcare, a warm, nurturing, and Ofsted‑registered childcare setting founded by Karlene Jenkins‑Williams in 2019.

I am a mother of five and grandmother of three, bringing over 24 years of caregiving experience to my work with children. I live in a spacious four‑bedroom home with three of my children (ages 13–20), where the entire ground floor is dedicated to childcare.

Our nursery‑style playroom offers plenty of space for learning and exploration, and our large, clutter‑free garden includes a slide, climbing frame, tricycles, mud kitchen, writing boards, sand and water trays, and more — giving children endless opportunities to learn through play.

Yaya’s Angelz welcomes families from all cultural, ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds, including families with children with special educational needs. Although founded on Christian values, we fully respect and honour the beliefs of non‑Christian families.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure every child becomes confident, independent, and school‑ready across all seven areas of learning.

MY EXPERIENCE

I bring 24 years of caregiving experience, including:

• 13 years supporting the elderly, autism, and challenging behaviour

• 1 year in a primary school (nursery & reception)

• 2 years as an Early Years Practitioner (ages 0–5)

• 1 year working with children aged 6–11 in an after‑school club

• 7 years as an Ofsted‑registered childminder

 

This broad experience allows me to understand children deeply and support their individual needs.
